Gearing question for the Coil and beyond (WHM)

So my crew downed turned 4 twice now and we're pushing against turn 5 a bit. Studying my gear options I'm curious which route to really go..

af2 gear = spell speed (for the most part)
Allagan gear = determination (for the most part)

Currently I'm sitting on 460 spell speed as is and only 280 or so determination, however my heals are still fairly hefty (if you ask me). So the question here is, what are other end game WHM doing?

Are you mixing and matching? My -CURRENT- strat is to wear all af2 (as I can get it of course) and supplement allagen jewelry and accesories, bypassing heroes belt and jewels entirely. This gives me a few pieces with determination (legs / boots) the rest mostly spell speed stuff.

Happy to hear advice, suggestions, critique here.
