My question is when housing comes out will it be a bid based system as in the game puts a house up for sale everyone bids on it for a set amount of time the highest person wins the house or will they just have a set price where the house is 10m gil and you buy it?

I'm confused at last part, so there's FC buildings like Park, Tower, etc that give buffs to their members. So I'm assuming, FC buy the land, where there are many plots inside. And they can put several buildings there that give FC-wide buffs, and some of plots can be purchased by members to serve as personal housing. *just my assumptions* So yeah personal housing come after FC.Quote:
Regarding Housing,
There's 3 area prepared for Housing, Wasteland / Forest / Ocean. This housing area will be instanced, and the plot will be scattered inside that area.
As for Plot size there are S/M/L . There's also building that can only be built on L plot. Each instance will only have 3 L size plot. Plot price at first will be expensive, and as the time goes the price will go down. If someone decided to move they can sell the plot to NPC.
First, buy the plot at the area you've decided, and on that, apply "Housing Certificate" on the house' foundation you're going to build. Housing Widget of that house will come out, and in there you can set the Roofs (which the parts can be created/bought from Crafter). Housing equipments, exterior, interior, can also be changed.
At garden, you can also place objects, putting chocobo stable, where you can breed several chocobo.
Home can be set open to public, or you can set specific players who have access to your home.
Among these housing, there's also EXP bonus that can affect Free Company's Member, increased HQ chance, There's also Park and Tower-like buildings can be placed they can provide varieties of Buffs.

The way i read how this will work is that for each area of property that is up for personal housing auction, is that each housing area will be instanced. If you want THAT particular house, you either buy it straight up when it first comes up, or wait until the current instance is full and the same house comes up for auction a second time, and then bid on it then.
