my understanding is that, when the stone faces are correctly positioned, the light goes off, and killing it thereafter would kill it permanently.
however, I was at the boss today and after I have placed the faces on the squares, the light went off but came back up again shortly after - does that mean it moved? but I was pretty much stationary.
