Is this still going on for others or is it just us?

Like the title says, I moved the game to my new 1TB Micro SD Express so that I can have some space to play other games and all of the game is downloaded to the SD card but I cannot play the game. Im currently moving the game back to the SD card to see if I can play it again but I just wanted to know if anyone has/had this same issue and if there is a fix to being able to play it on the SD card, its just a weird thing not being able to play this one game when its on the SD card. Sorry in advance if this has already been asked, I dont use forums so Im not sure how they work, I literally just made an account on this forum to get an answer to my issue.

So, I've been playing on Switch 2 the past few days (mostly undocked over wifi). All of sudden this morning, the game froze and I had to forcequit. When I went to log back in to the Data Center I keep getting error 2002. However, if I dock the switch and use ethernet, it loads up fine. The moment I undock and revert to wifi it freezes again.

Any thoughts why this would happen all of a sudden or tips for troubleshooting?

TIA!

I really don't know a better way to describe it.
I play on two characters mostly. Spent the entire day playing on one, logged onto the other; the game said there was an issue with hotbars, so I figured I'd restart.

After restarting the game opened in the default windowed setting with the ARR title screen and asked if I'd like to configure settings. None of my characters are displayed, it asks me to select a data center to play but nothing else there.

I have attempted "Restore Game" through the launcher, no luck. I fully uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. I did send in a ticket to make sure that my SE account is fine and in good standing and received a confirmation that it is (this whole ordeal did put my anxiety through the roof).

I don't know how to fix it at this point, anyone have any ideas? Please keep in mind I am very bad with tech stuff so talk to me like I'm a child.

My ISP is Google Fiber on 1Gig.

My protection software is Bitdefender.

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 (3 monitor setup. Each monitor is 144hz at 4k)

What I have tried so far:
-Release and renew IP
-Switch the game from "Borderless window" to "Full Screen"
-Reinstall
-Reset router
-Contact ISP (They see no issue in my connections)
-Reinstalled on my C: drive (it's an NVME)
-Start program as administrator
-Forwarded ports: 54992 through 54994,
55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040
-Added exceptions in Windows Defender firewall.
-Set program priority to "High"

This is still is ongoing. I'll see rubberbanding, freezes (people standing idle), and if I let it go on long enough, it will get an error "Connection with the server was lost 90006" and send me back to the login. Only "solution" has been to completely restart the game and then hope it doesn't start up with lag. Even still, I only get maybe a few hours before the lag kicks in and I have to startover.

Is it possible the client is having issues talking to the server? I'm so confused why this is happening. If I can't resolve it, I'll have to cancel my sub. I can't play the game like this.

Hello everyone,

It has been several months I keep getting this error popping up when playing FF14, rather randomly (today I was able to play occult crescent for 3 hours, got out of OC, went to check my glams, and got the crash. But this error already happen in random other situations while playing FF14.

I have tried the following solution:
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinitialising windows entirely
- Clean installation of graphic drivers
- Reverting graphic drivers to November 2025 version
- Disabling any overlay (discord, game bar, nvidia...)
- Adding TdrDelay to my registry

Nothing does the job. It is really affecting my game experience and really would like to resolve this issue :( Thanks for your help!
