Game is not running smooth and is stuck at 30 fps

Hello, so I have some weird kind of bug or something. Yesterday I was playing as usual with around 100 fps. When I went to bed I turned my pc off. And today when I launched the game the ingame fps counter and the nvidia overlay all say that the game stays at around 30 fps.
At first I thought its an hardware issue but after testing other games and a 3d benchmark I saw that the GPU (rtx 5080) gets the whole ~360 watt and that those other games (Elden Ring and BG3) run on more than 25 fps.
So I tested...I rollbacked the last windows update, I rollbacked to the previous nvidia driver, I restored all the game data, I restored all the GPU and windows settings to default, my monitors run on their usual 120 Hz and the game has no frame limit or limit to draw Watt from the GPU. But the error persists.
There was a weird thing yesterday that when I hovered over the BST skills my game all of a sudden crashed with an error message I cant recall, but after a pc restart the fps still were at 100.

And this led me here, because Im really confused as to what else to try. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it.

cannot connect to Chaos Data Center

Since the last update I cannot connect to Choas Data Center, it was working fine before the update. I can connect to Materia with no problems.

Overly massive UI

Managed to finally log in despite all the connections issues but every bit of UI is massive, from the title screen to character screen to in game
In gam i can set the windows (such as Inventory window etc) to be slightly smaller but for it to fit i'd have to go manually and set everything at 70% size when i never had this problem before in 6 years
Chat is overly minuscule, the rest of the text like character names, NPC names and controller menu is also massive
anyone has that too ? any fix ?

Adding Switch 2 FFXIV account to my main account

I am having trouble adding my Switch 2 FFXIV account to my main account. Whenever I try to add a new service account, it prompts me to buy the game even though I already own it on my Switch 2. Is there a way to connect my two accounts?

429 Too Many Requests - Can't access forums on home internet

When I try to access the forums on any device connected to my home internet network, I get "429 Too Many Requests."

This has been happening for a while and I don\\'t understand why, because I\\'ve only ever accessed the website like normal. I\\'ve never spamed the website with refreshes or anything. I can log in on mobile data just fine. I don't have this issue on any other website.

Is there any way to fix this or find out why my IP address is getting banned/temp banned?

Character Login Soft Locks even when logging out normally

Hopefully I'm not the only one with this problem, but I started noticing it ever since the last patch went live.

Sometimes, when I logout using normal logout procedure (/logout command or through the menu), I'll try to log onto another character and the message pops up to say 'Character Logged Out Improperly" or something like that. It used to be that only happened if I got disconnected from the game with a 90002 error, which usually meant I lost access but my character hasn't been removed from the game yet.

Since this last patch in which the Beastmaster has been introduced, it's been happening more and more, except not due to me getting disconnected with the 90002 error, but by using normal logout procedure to switch characters.

I'm also aware that, for this last patch, SE has also done some backend work on the servers.

Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

I haven't been able to move or play since that 2nd patch on beastmaster

For all of 2 minutes I got in today. Someone in my fc said 'hi'', couldn't respond ofc.

I have done everything the internet says might help. Nothing has helped.
What did you all do to the game? My computer is older. New to me, better than I had before, and has been great for the past 7+ months.

Beastmaster starts and for 12(?) days I get to try it. And then that 2nd patch, and I'm locked out, can't move, do all the internet says should help.

Then I see we have two weeks to 'log in' before we get locked out of telling what is going on?

I have an open ticket, no one has gotten back to me. I can't move, respond in game, switch classes, etc. This is a nightmare.
Am I to lose my FC, my house, I did lose my pvp rank.

NO one has gotten back to me. I have played 3,210 days. Rank 4 according to the game.

This is all you ff14.

I'm boring. I don't go to things to my computer except for YOU, youtube, and some solitare.
HELP ME- At least get me back in and moving. Fix things on your side.

Switch 2: Is there a way to unsave password?

I found a glaring security issue with the Switch 2 version. Once you link your SE account and enter both your password and your OTP, the game saves your password AND doesn't require you to enter the OTP anymore, which defeats the purpose of the OTP. I don't mind if I can unsave the password and enter it everytime but not requiring the OTP is a security issue because the Switch 2 is shared by other people in the household.

Unstable Connection to Mana Data Centre During Night Time (GMT+8)

Hi, I play FF14 on PS5. I have been experiencing unstable connection during night time / peak hour (specifically, 21:00-00:00, GMT+8, near the reset time of daily roulette). This is a significant delay which I was almost expelled from the PVP as it took me almost 2 minutes to revive.

My other devices work fine during that same period (e.g., watching Youtube, Discord voice chat etc.). And the network checking through the PS5 itself shows everything is fine. So I believe it is not my network issue. On the other hand, the connection is fine at midnight and day time. I also changed my connection method from wifi to the lan cable. The speed number improved a lot but the issue remains.

This has been happening since the start of the Moogle Treasure Hunt. I am wondering if it is just a network congestion. Still, I would like to see if there any trouble shooting or solution as this troubles me to participate in Daily Roulettes. Thanks in advance for the help!
