I wouldnt. 502 Delay is just fine. Quietus on the other hand needs a upgrade in dmg.
502 screws up 5 hit builds, end up using askar with zelus tiara, 528 on the other hand is a very easy 5 hit build, and if redemption could 5 hit easily we could just be spamming quietus fast enough for it to not matter that its damage is low
I agree that a 502 delay weapon is going to make it harder to make a 5 hit build, but I highly doubt SE will change ever change it to a 528. Either find away to make it work or settle for a 6 hit. Also theres 9 lvls left till the cap, who knows what kind of stp gear we might get.
What Jar said is true the low delay helps the aftermath/melee DMG which is alot higher than the WS DMG from this weapon either way i still don't know why pple make the scythe other than the looks.

from the math i did it is close to caladbolg aftermath hits at 90 redemption should be a nice sight to see too lol im sorta working on mine now because i miss being able to switch between GS and scythe for fun :P
also with some buffs redemption should beat caladbolg but thats only with 80% haste up

any 80% haste situation redemption will win because of the base damage because 430*0.2=86 and 502*0.2=100.4 (101 i think deay is rounded up nomaater what if it has a remainder)
so lets put that into [(DMG rating of weapon) x 60] / (Delay of weapon) for a DPS like wiki gives you(using 90 dmgs)
[(136*60)]/101=80.79207920792079 Redemption(90)
[(120*60)]/86 =83.72093023255814 Caladbolg(90)
and i guess im wrong higher DPS and better WS over all :X
Tho outside of abyssea this means alot less because aftermath melee crits are not quite what they are inside lol and the xhit on redemption will prob make up for it but i dunno ive been wrong before in this post lmao
oh and i use sword strap and i dunno if the delay is pre haste or stacks but

[(120*60)]/83.42(84)=85.71428571428571 Caladbolg(90) this seams more realistic <_<
and no one can disagree caladbolg is easier to get working on redemption now is .. somewhat difficult..

I think its a vastly misunderstood weaponskill.
All the stuff adds up on paper, and I'll have one eventually to test it out vs Torcleaver.
