Increase Dynamis Base Relic Weapon drops.

Have done about a week of non stop farming in Dynamis - San d'Oria trying to get my base relic katana and have seen about 4x WAR base items. 0 of anything else.

Now that Dynamis has gone away from the whole "Full alliances running through and clearing the zone" approach, the ability to obtain the base relic weapon in order to start with your relic upgrades has become problematic.

I will probably get a lot of trolls with this next suggestion (especially relic holders pre-dyna update) but why not make them 100% drop off certain NM's in the associated zone. (or at least a much higher drop rate then they are currently).

I need the base weapon to upgrade to stage 2 and it is holding me back. Getting quite frustrating farming in the same zone day after day and only seeing the odd G.Axe drop.

I can't toss those things fast enough, But i can see where the problem is.

I think i got a Ihanto maybe 2-3 Times over the course of 6 runs. Got more Great axes than i could count. Luckily though I got a Dagger in my first Windurst run, near the end of it.

I don't know how much a "Good" raise would be. It would suck to be getting them left and right...

Yes agreed on that..

I do think making them 100% drop from certain NM's (or at least a higher drop rate) would work. Being able to low man Dynamis is great. Not being able to get the right base weapon to drop is annoying however. I know the "sample size" comment will come up, but I am done with San d'Oria and want to move on. Not being able to get the base weapon to drop is so driving me nuts!

I'd like gear to be adjusted in general for Dynamis. I solo in Bastok for my SMN Hands, can normally pull off 20-30mobs with no TEs because I have a rockin' Perp- Build and I nevah need MP! Be that as it may, if I end up duoing with my THF friend, we get all the TEs and nearly triple that number, taking time to kill the SMN NM (Gu'Nhi Noondozer) whenever it pops. We proc nearly every mob and go out of our way to proc the SMN for his currency, and after 2 runs of that and around 10 of my own, I have seen exactly 5 armors drop (COR COR DRG DRG SAM, for reference, the SAM came from the SMN NM). I'd like it if procs had a more noticeable effect on gear, or if drop rates were increased some more overall for non-currency to make it less "annoying chore" and more "recreational farming" like the new system seems to encourage. I also admit that a few DNC may have dropped during my attempts, but it would not show up because I have it already. As an aside, any tips to encourage gear drops besides NM targeting and procs?

Few reasons why this is a non issue. You say you went 4 runs without it dropping well by the time you get enough currency to finish it you most definitely will see it drop.

But do yourself a favor and save time and money and get a Kannagi. Which is so much better then Kikoku.
