    Clearing Abyssea Lights

After cleaving in Abyssea - Atto. for about 10 hours me and a few friends decided that it'd be worth while to be able to clear a certain type of light, be it from an NPC for a certain amount of cruor, or anything else.

What I mean by this exactly is it'd be nice to be able to either get rid of all your Ruby, Amber, or anything. I don't think this would be game breaking or anything. Anyways, discuss, tell me what you guys think.

I for one would prefer it if things were fixed so that having extra lights wasn't a detriment.

I don't like your idea. Cause you intentionaly made your ruby does mean that you wanted it. So there is no need for clearing lights through NPCs.
You could also no cleave and create lights the way you need them.
Also with the latest update you'r able to destroy chests you don't want and even the improved chest droprate makes your idea obsolet.

Ruby lights aren't too bad, since it only spawns one type of chest that is actually usefull.. until you cap lights.

If it was possible to ditch lights, some people in my party could focus on TEs and exp, while others go after KIs with only pearl/amber. Perhaps you could even store some of the light in a gem, so that next time you enter abyssea, you can start with 115 pearl, instead of 0. Once used, the gem dissolves and give you (and only you) the stored lights.
