It doesn't need a dev tag of its own. It goes under job adjustments. The problem is of course when 10 years has passed and SE hasn't even touched the topic. Spirits for example will never get a devtag of their own because SE has forgotten they exist. First you have to spam their forum long enough for them to notice it.
No one said that people shouldn't voice themselves... the only thing that's being said here is not to voice yourselves with "[To the Devs]" in your topic title. If more people don't voice themselves then we will never see updates...so ya I agree
There was no forum to voice your ideas about things for years and patches didn't stop. All we had was that suggestion box thingy.
Lol, somebody takes their forums too seriously!

Personally, I appreciate the [Dev 10XX] tags in the title, if they're related to an actual dev topic. Since I'm usually not looking for any specific information when I come here, being able to see the topic's relation to an update note at a glance is a handy thing.
Have you been living under a rock? Yes, you have.
There have been forums for ffxi forever...
the ZAM network (or allakhazam), ffxiah, bluegartr, killingifrit, etc.
SE has had people like Matt Hilton browsing an reading those forums and sending feedback to the devs for YEARS before this one was made. Suggestions and whatnot from those forums are JUST as important/unimportant to them as the suggestions from here.
