[To PLAYERS] Stop tagging posts with [To the DEVs]

Seriously: they have already said they don't comment on threads directly asking for their attention. So if you want it, just post normally instead of trying to be an attention-something. It isn't going to work.

    That is all.

Just from casual observation it looks like they answer posts that directly ask them questions. I made a thread for that reason and had success getting a response from camate.

While it's true that it's only the GM/Moderation staff that is directly prohibited from answering direct questions (see: Square Enix Privacy Policy), it is also nothing short of obnoxious in general to be tagging things [DEV 100X] or [TO THE DEVS]. It drives me crazy, since it pretty much screams to me "Hey, my idea/question/concern is not important/valid enough on its own merit to garner any actual attention so I'm going to put a huge neon sign on it to make up for it"

    +1 to the OP.

I guess I need to make a spirit thread that doesn't include a question then.

Am I allowed to insult them for feedback though? I'm thinking that if I call them WAR-nazis or something they might respond more to mage threads instead of just ignoring them all.

Why are we supposed to care? It's not like it's a bunch of racist comments or whatever else is ACTUALLY irritating being used. You guys have some thin skins.

Who said anything about asking questions? You're just supposed to not specifically address the dev team. I don't want a good topic to be skipped over just because they're seeing a thread as being an attention-something.

You can make a thread: "Why does _____ suck?" without sticking [TO THE DEVS] in front of it. Asking for their attention does not give you their attention. You should be posting as if they aren't there.

The entire complaint about [to the devs] is being undermines by the fact that [to the players] has at least 2~3 times the about of views as other recently made threads.
You're already proving that people are more likely to click it if you address it to them just by allowing the thread to exist. Considering the fact that the mods don't even READ most of the posts they're supposedly "fixing" it actually achieving it's intended purpose is a good thing for the thread makers.

tldr. you're complaining about something that probably works because you aren't doing it too.
