    Gear Change/Blink Issues

    For years there have been issues wherein when a character changes gear he/she temporarily blinks (becomes invisible to view). I've not filled out the form because this is a common occurrence and happens to everyone. It is not a new bug that happens occasionally or only under certain circumstances. This causes a couple major issues:

    1. When gear changing after using a Weapon Skill that creates a Skillchain, the animation for the Skillchain itself does not display nor does the damage that is inflicted upon the enemy display in the chat log for the actual Skillchain. There doesn't seem like there should be a relationship to mob animation and Skillchain damage display to what a character is doing with their own gear.
    2. You lose target on yourself when you change gear which can be troublesome when casting on oneself.
    3. You lose target on someone else that changes gear when you are about to cast upon them.

    It would be great to get these 3 things finally fixed since they've been like this since the game was launched.

    old topic, already debated to death in other threads here.

    There is an issue with the original platform that prevents them from doing anything about it. Legacy code has carried over into the newer platforms. Until that problematic platform fades out of use/support, SE will not be inspired to change it.
