Question re: Heroes KI's

I dont know if someone has asked this, but I'm going to...and I'm expecting Surreal to chyme in about how I dont want to work for my stuff, but anyways.

What was going through the dev's minds when they came up with the Empyrean NM breakdown in heroes areas? The previous two addon's have slight variances in difficulty, but overall theres not much discrepancy. 1-2 timed NM's where you have to red!! (or 0 in Caba's case) and 0-2 pop NM's where you have to red!!. However, it changes in Heroes expansion. All three have two sets of NM's for Empyrean weapons: Orthrus + Dragua, Izgebind + Apademak, Azdaja + Alfard with VERY different conditions

Orthrus + Apademak + Alfard's pop KI follow the following pattern:
Trigger red!! on a previous NM which is spawned with the following items:
Item 1: Farmed from a nearby standard mob
Item 2: Moderately high drop rate from a ??? NM nearby or small gold chests
Item 3: Pretty low drop rate (!! weaknesses have no impact on it) from a timed NM nearby or small gold chests

Dragua + Izgebind + Azdaja pop KI follow the following pattern:
Trigger red!! on a timed NM or cleave large gold chests.


Is there any reason for such a discrepancy? You cant even properly farm chests for the first set of pop items because if you load amber up too high, you'll get large gold chests, which the rare items wont spawn, and the KI for the Empyrean NM's wont load there. I'd just love to get some feedback on this.

Farming gold chests in heroes areas has been such a pain in my ass. I don't know what's going on in those zones with conditions, but at times I kill one mob for amber and it's nothing but large chests from there.

Its from the dominion rewards... now if only you could get time chests from one azure kill
