+1 seals another way

I wish the seal drops from Dom ops were not so random, but they aren't terrible either. Without farming AT ALL I already have 2 seals for my highest job (BST). I also already have 2 seals for a job I want to level (BLM). It doesn't really seem that difficult to get them. Is it really impossible for you to form a party to farm them?

If it is, then you might need to work up your marketable and or social skills.

I am pretty resigned to the fact that I might need to level whm to have something more to offer small groups - but that's okay. I mean, exp is super fast in Abyssea for a reason.

There isn't any NM that drops seals that can't be fought with a NIN, WHM and BLM trio party. Nothing is that hard.

not that I'm agreeing about making seals easier to get (and I need a truckload myself), but it's entirely possible for a player to have neither nin, whm or blm at endgame levels, I play a ton and I don't. Nin I find playing to be about as pleasant as a colonoscopy, whm and blm are on my to do list, but with about 8 jobs ahead of them.

That being said, bst, pup, dancer and thief can solo a bunch of them too. I know plenty or rdm that can solo the +1 stuff, blu owns for the most part, smn and drg (if you know what you are doing) don't really have much to worry about either. I even know a sam and a dark that solo aby NMs fairly well.

Nin Sj isnt exactly hard to level up if you dont want to be nin main for greelow. Not having nin at 90 is no excuse.

I just think that how some seals are obtained should be balanced a bit more. Jobs which have +1 seals from tier II VNMs in Heroes areas have it easy, all the other +1 body armor is a pain to get and I don't agree that they're all extremly easy to get. Just another thing that's slightly unbalanced in the game imo.

What? T2 VNMs are frequently overcamped by people doing Emp trials so I don't see where you're going with that argument.

The body seal NMs pops can be bought off the AH. If you don't have the gil, throw your time at quests or convert cruor to gil. Create a PUG group where everyone brings a set and before you know it, you'll have the 10 seals.

There is nothing more than can be done. It's not hard and only 2 NMs off the top of my head are truly issues to fight in a small party, the Moblin in Grauberg and the Cactuar in Altepa.

I don't know how anyone playing the game right now with so many jobs doesn't have the most important ones leveled. Anyways TC may be partly right about body seals they are harder to obtain then regular seals. Not sure this needs to be adjusted though.

I disagree about +1 seals been easy to get. Blue Mage body for example are horrible to get. They made it so easy to get +2 armor, and the +1 head/hands/legs/feet are easy to get, but the body armor really isn't. Could get 9 stones of ardor easily before you even get 1 Mavi seal: body.

Unless you have an infinate amount of gil then body seals are not easy to get.



How many of those are Dancer or Paladin or Blue Mage?

Dhorme Khimaira drops BLU body seals like it's his job.

I thrown away a whole stack of blu body seals after +1 my body. If you having problems fighting the NM the quest is really easy and takes all of 7 mins. Got all but 1 seal from it, and that came from a OP.

I can't think of a time that dominion/bastion ops gave me a seal I actually needed. I've had far more success in ls and pick-up NM seal farming groups. Regardless of seal you're after there's usually a NM that favors that seal. Make a group to go after that NM and make the seal you're going after reserved: you'll be done with the +1 in one session.
