This forum could be a source of income for them as well. But it doesn't look like they're going for that-- no ads. I wonder what Ffxiclopedia & Zam make on the ads? The few million a year they could make from ads must not be an appeal for them-- so I don't think they're hurting as badly as we may think.

Give them everything they want.

I've often joked that SE is making everything easier on the players so that we'll finish all our goals and stop playing. It's like they are intentionally sabotaging their own game. I don't REALLY think this, but it is a thought to mull over.
