the merger = failure. Your excuse to give all players the chance to do things. Sorry but that is not what you did. When we cant go things because there are 3 linkshells trying to do the same and it was not like that before = fail.

Cost of doing business my friend.
Im agree with vausabant, now is impossible get things done with all NMs overcamped. merge = big fail
Oh grow up
They didn't merge to make it easier for players, they merged to make it cheaper to keep up. The playerbase is dying, keeping all the servers costs more than they probably make from the game.
Really? I suppose being on a server that was involved in the first large merge rather than the most recent the changes made in teh last update seem only overwhelmingly helpful. Being that our population didn't increase the triple spawn points for several of the most popular NMs worked largely as intended (there are some groups that burn multiples with brews, but at least they're necessarily quick about it). I'm not sure how the populations stack up between servers that were just merged and the ones unaffected by the recent merge, but on Valefore most of Abyssea is working pretty well. Hopefully the population equalizes a little bit or SE can intact other changes to make it a little more comfortable for any servers that aren't quite there :/ Certainly the increased variety of KIs from boxes and spawn points must have helped and hopefully this coming update furthers that a bit. Now SE just needs to make amber farming in Tahrongi a bit more possible (as far as I'm concerned -- not sure what further measures might help other servers).
