Security Token Battery

My security token seems to be running out of power.what do i do?it does not appear to have any way to replace the battery. please assist.

Thanks alot SE, think itsa time for me to move on with my gaming life.The fact that ive been playing for 6years+ and paying for all the new updates and crap is not enough. To have to buy another is just another way for SE to get more money out of me and everyone else who bought one. With all the technology that they possess,u think a battery cover or a way to change them would have been an easy solution for their devoted patrons.

You do understand that having to use the tokens is almost definitely a net loss in cost for SE, right?

they need to implement a trade in policy, sort of like a core exchange policy. Order a replacement and link to it, then get an RMA number to send your old one back for a credit on your next bill or something. There should be no reason why they couldn't replace the battery and re-init the token for someone else to use. So long as the old one isn't too battered, they could just resell it, or maybe drop the guts into a new plastic case and resell it.

How often have you been using your token? I'm still using my original one (that i won from a contest so I had it before everyone else) and it's still working fine. Baby spamming the button or something?

I am still using mine from when they where released still not run out. Also got a back up for when it does from FFXIV collectors edition though lol
