always amuses me when people spout off how everyone hates a group that everyone turns to for help in a crisis....

how some will claim one certain group forces it's views on everyone else, while that accused group puts forth a concerted effort to honor, respect and celebrate others views (to the point of not just drafting law or policy, but making it part of their founding documents)--and then all those other groups will refuse to honor that one particular groups views in kind.

The vast majority of the world has benefitted from the death of soldiers in various alliances(not just American), often times strenghtened by a US presence--if not based primarily on it. As such, some of those allies actually do show respect for their allies (ie, non-US nations do honor US soldiers, and the US does honeor other nations soldiers) on their given holidays. So to just patently claim this is so heavily American-centric is not just misleading, but technically false.

Go back and read some world history......
