Increasing the cap by 5 (10/10 -> 15/15) on Tier 1 and Tier 2 for all jobs would solve this problem and not create balance issues. If everyone merits the optimal choices, so the next 5 of each category would be less of an improvement than any 5 of the first 10.

Again, building a game around a job system is awesome in that it allows you to *not* specialize. Giving us many storage options has moved us even further in this direction. Increasing the Skills/Other/whatever merit categories has moved us yet further in this direction. Forcing us to specialize our jobs into roles at 75-90 is dumb.

Personally, I went 5 Phalanx, 3 Dia III, 1 Slow II, 1 Paralyze II. Given 5 more, I might cap Bio III.
