NO FFXI Abyssea Edition for Xbox360!?

I don't know if this thread has been made before or not.
But I'm extremely ticked off about this.

I tried to look for the FFXI Ultimate Collection, Abyssea Edition for the Xbox360 version but I couldn't, so what did I do? I called SE by phone to confirm if there was one and unfortunately they said they don't.

This month, I talked to 3 of my Real life friends to play this game.
They love RPG and action and FPS types of games. They liked the idea of MMROPG that FFXI was with abyssea and all. I told them we can do abyssea, get their levels up there, and skill up and do missions together and enjoy contents with friends and meet more people durring the game.

Yesterday, on June/21/2011, I had one out of three of my RL friends come over to watch me do a little CoP missions with an Online friend of mine who I was duoing with. I wanted to show him a little of FFXI's gameplay and the exciting storyline that goes well in it. He defiantly loved the CS and fights and is more than ever excited about getting the game for his xbox than before.

1 of my RL friends cannot play on PC because he doesn't have a computer nor the money to afford it. He plays on Xbox360 and he has enough to buy the game at its current price but unfortunately for him he cannot get the Abyssea Edition...

Another RL friend has an xbox360 & Desktop & a lap-top Computer. His Desktop has a lot of viruses and he never uses it anymore, and his Lap-top is sorta broken... The screen is like shows cracks and it shut downs randomly... But his Xbox360 works perfectly fine and he has headsets where we can all talk on xbox party chat.

And finally, my 3rd RL friend only has 1 desktop in his house that everyone wants to use.. He could play it on PC but he will be kicked off it in middle of gaming because family will always bug him and high-jack the PC from him for staying too long.. So he has to also play on his xbox360 in his room if he wants to game.

3 RL friends and they are unlucky that they cannot game with
"FFXI Ultimate collection Abyssea Edition" for the xbox360.

Nobody in these situations are going to spend that much $$$ just to get a brand new PC when they cannot afford it just to play this game. If the game is available for the current system that is not outdated, and works perfectly fine, then it should be available and not limited to.

Good news is tho: all 3 of my friends will be starting this month on the xbox360 but with the Regular FFXI Ultimate Collections, Without any Abyssea expansions.. So my friends wont be able to collect stones as they do lvl up, which sucks.
I'm not sure if they will pay the extra $10 yet, but hopefully they do.
I really want to do a bunch of contents with my friends tho, Hopefully they lvl up quickly.

But this still doesn't change the fact that it is frustraiting and unfair how the Abyssea Edition of the game hasn't come out yet for the xbox360. Please FiX THIS!

    Thank you!

Buy the game from D2D off SEs web site use the code you now have all abyssea add ons. Remember the abyssea add ons will be down loaded as soon as you update the game only thing you need is the code which will work on every platfrom.

Can't do that since you need the Game's Disc in order to play it on Xbox360 hun. =(
I was thinking the same but its a fail attempt if you dont have the game disc for the xbox360.
It won't play without the disc.

So they have the disc to play now right if i'm reading you post right. You can still use the code off D2D to unlock the add ons. As long as you have the old disc. The code will unlock all content not already unlocked.

Just to add another thing yes you'll have to pay 20 bucks for the D2D code but it will save you 10 bucks if you were to buy them one at a time. Another thing they could make it but they would lose more money then its worth to make such a disc. Game stores will not order more then they think they can move, why do you think that when every box expanion in the past most only had 1 or 2 come in. That is why they shifted to download content. it saves them money and save us the headach of going to every gamestop we can find in hope of finding the game on the platfrom we play.

Yes, to be clear, there is no "abyssea install" disc. Same goes for ACP, MKT and ASA. And you can use the code from any version of the game on any system as the codes themselves have nothing to do with the system what so ever.

The version I downloaded (from GameStop) had a CD key that could be used 3 times, just so you know. So you can buy one version of the Abyssea Edition and let each of them get the content. Only one use of the Destrier Beret code, though.

Like Ravenmore said, you only need some form of FFXI disc in the 360. Be it the original release that contained everything through ToAU, the release that contained everything through WotG, or whatever. Getting the collection that contained the three mission-based add-ons is good because they won't have to buy a ton of codes. Buy it from D2D or whereever else sells the game, and they'll provide you with a code that you can use on any of the three systems. Registration codes aren't linked to a specific CD or download.

For me, I own it on both the PC and the Xbox, having bought the WotG collection for Xbox. I used my Xbox's code for my original account, which was originally with a code from the PC version.

Ok here is the Problem now,
One of my RL friend tried to buy FFXi for the xbox360 near where we live but EB games, Game Stop, Frys, Best buy, and any other online stores do not sell them anymore....

Amazon is the only place that sells it and they sell it over price for $79++ which is over priced.

What is going on? My friends can't play FFXi now?
    Well this just sucks.

If anyone can find me a site where they sell xbox360 version of the game under $30, please send me a Link cause I need to know. I really want my friends to join badly but they can only play it on xbox.
    Thanks!
