Raise the Minimum Requirement for pets entering Abyssea to Lv70 or 75

This should have been what it was in the first place. And if not 75, at least 70 and no lower. It makes no sense, because being able to summon a pet in Abyssea that's Lv30 just kills off all other content.

I don't know why anyone would argue that this should not happen. And what is the point in having special items for new pets like the Healing Salve 1 to keep their HP capped up untill Lv30, all so that they can be SUPREMELY Power Leveled by their masters. And when they get all the way to 90, the Lv30 capped pets will be useless anyways.

I really don't know what SE was thinking when they decided to allow Lv30 pets to enter Abyssea... Seriously, what can a Lv30 do in Abyssea, OTHER THAN be extremely power leveled??? So what if there is some minor Blood Pacts/Ready commands in between? It's not going to stop people from just getting one easy pet to beat Maat with (Nazuna), so that they can save all their gil and not have to worry about it anymore.

Bottom Line: Allowing Lv30 requirement to enter Abyss opens up the opportunity for pets to exploit and bypass other areas/content of the game.

Darn right I'm upset. Courrier Carrie has been having it so easy. It makes no sense that Carrie can enter Abyssea when you can summon him at lvl 23. It detracts from the game to allow this atrocity. Think about it. All the new players mindlessly spamming pets that weren't required to level up.

Those pets were DENIED the privilege to exp in Behemoth's Dominion for 6k/hr at level 34, DENIED the opportunity to battle the Promyvion bosses at their intended level, DENIED the chance to prove themselves worthy in Conquest Expedition.

These pets were unknowingly ROBBED of all of the low level content that we all feel they should be REQUIRED to participate in to enjoy the game in all its wonders.

These pets never had a chance man.. They'll never truly know the fury of Bubbly Bernie. They'll never understand the complexity of farming Meteorites in West Sarutabaruta at night. It's a shameful state the game has fallen into.

I'm all for improvements and suggestions.

Why don't we create a system where pets can go level up together using tab pages etc? Then they can enter Abyssea fully leveled and ready to rock.

Blah Blah Blah a buncha stuff that makes me sound like I'm winning. Skip down 3 paragraphs.

Me taking things out of context and twisting them to prove my point.
More of me "winning" Charlie Sheen style.

While I may not agree with you sir, I defend to the death your right to say it. But if I don't like it or if it sharply points out how erroneous my previous statements were, I'll pretend I didn't see them.

    More of me winning.

I'm not a doctor by the way.

Plain to see the Dev's give up on cleaning the NA forums. Proof = obvious troll threads like this haven't been deleted yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered though. <3 And this thread still makes me giggle. Teehee

FoV/GoV will be overcamped...again.
They've changed the re-spawn timer for old world mobs, they now spawn as quickly as Colibri do. FoV/GoV would not be over camped, as there are many different camps for different pets throughout the world. Pets would be able to accumulate Tabs/Gil along with EXP while grouping together.

    Vana'diel would feel alive again.

What problem is that exactly? Not allowing pets to leech? Over population of pets, because you assume that the only things that exist outside Abyssea are Crabs and Colibri camps? (which is again, a fanatical/extreme view)

Since when was pet "Leeching" ever considered proper before Abyssea came out? If I recall, a pet who went AFK for too long in a normal EXP PT, was booted and replaced with a more active jug. Now that pet leeching has become mainstream, everyone should just hop on the AbyPetLeech bandwagon and toss out their previous morals. You think that is a good excuse?

A pet after level 75 might as well be called "Fighter" or "Assassin".

What I don't fully understand is why so many people want to get rid of a key creature and replace it with even MORE Dual Wield (NIN already has the fastest Dual Wield btw).

Other than the current Final Fantasy, please explain to me in which part of the series did pets have level restrictions? And which FF were pets not actually quite useful? Because I clearly remember in FF 6 and FF tactics that pets did/helped alot more than just regular katana swings all the time.

Keep pets. Keep them at level 30. Improve them. Don't get rid of them and just make pets some kind of melee happy "Kraken club" wannabe job.

    Done.
