Soloing CoP Missions?

I have been gone from the game for over a year now and I want to come back but what I was wondering is with the disbanding of the level caps for these fights can a lvl 75 SMN, COR, THF, or RDM solo their way to Sea? I'm on the airship fight atm and if I can remember correctly it was a 65 cap. Can I solo this or duo it? It was hard finding people to do the missions even before I left so I'm sure it would be 30 times more so now.

I duod it at 80 with some difficulty. I imagine it should be a lot easier at 90. Depends on your job I guess, I did it WAR+RDM. A more evasive job and a healer/support should have no problems. But at Lv75 it would still be hard ish.

Neph, if you don't have bst, find one. Trust me, they can just breeze through it.
Or in this day and age, you can just burn your bst to 90 first. lol

All of CoP is solo/duoable (at most you may need 4 people). CoP 8-3 or 'pots fight' can be solo'd with a puppetmaster with good blm automaton skills/nukes, so if you can find one of those or a bst you'll be in good shape.

No, but if you are patient (or can't set up a time with arcon), get these jobs to 90. I'm pretty sure that out of your choices smn, rdm, and thf wouldn't have too much difficulty in soloing.


reason I say no btw, is not so much they are too low, but because of time limit. When I first came back my hubby and I tried to duo ouryu on our 75 mules we never bothered getting sea for (whm and dnc). Had zero issues in the sense of actually duoing it, but ran out of time because of dmg.
