Just one comment for the Square-Enix team: why do we have maintenances on evening GMT+1 time? Why are we always the ones suffering from that? We had the big update 10 days ago, then a 2-hour long maintenance the day after. Tonight we have another one. Why can JP and US people play after work when we get the maintenance and cannot play at all? If the maintenance is so urgent, why isn't it carried out as soon as the problem occurs and not when JP players are sleeping. This is really unfair. We pay the same amount of money every month and we're robbed every time. Please, consider changing update or maintenance times so that everyone suffers from it and not only European players.

Because europe is the smallest user base, therefore the fewest possible amount of people would be inconvenienced over maintenance during those hours.

Sucks to be us, but whatever, I can live with it. It's not like there isn't tons of other things to do, right?

speak for yourself, I'm a US player. The updates-at least the big ones-seem to run to 8-9 pm my time (CDT). Then I get to download, and even with a cable modem that is sometimes a several hour proposition. Not to mention getting bounced and getting to start over if the traffic is especially heavy (as it usually is). By the time I get access, usually between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am I simply don't care enough to log on, I've found something else to do by then.
