HDD - PS2. I play on PC. Anyway, all I did is DL the item. I didn't even start it. The first time I started it was when I could not access my current version of FF.

So you're saying your computer doesn't possess a HDD (or SSD)? Steam treats the items the exact same way, because they're the exact same game. The data for the Abyssea content was already on your computer, all you needed were the registration codes to input to your account to tell the game that you have paid for the content.

That is correct, all I needed was the codes, which I got last night. AND IT WORKED on the CURRENT version I HAD before I D/L'd from STEAM. Had I not downloaded the product they had in que, I would not have this problem. What I was trying to warn players about is that this will happen to them IF THEY D/L the game from steam! DO NOT do it. Just buy it and get the codes and leave the download, OR evade STEAM and use another source.
