Please add the Destrier Beret to the list of sendable items, It is unfair to expect us to spend $20 for every character we want to have this hat on the same account.

You're not spending $20 for the hat. You're spending $20 for PlayOnline, FINAL FANTASY XI Online, Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess, A Crystalline Prophecy, A Moogle Kupo d'Etat, A Shantotto Ascension, Vision of Abyssea, Scars of Abyssea, and Heroes of Abyssea.

The hat is a free bonus 'thank you' for buying the collection.

If you're buying stuff you already have just for a bonus 'thank you' gift, you have only yourself to blame.

For those that don't know the Destrier Beret is a bonus item for buying the ultimate abyssea edition, but when using the code you may only select 1 character to give the hat to. Since the system to obtain the hat is now already in place the only fix is to make it sendable to our alternate characters.

This is a bonus. It is not what you're paying for. Only getting it on one character is, I'm pretty sure, something SE intended. It's not broken, so it doesn't need a fix.

Could it use an improvement? Probably. But that's not the same as a fix.

And why can't people who already bought all the expansions get it automatically? Why not reward your loyal long time customers?

Because people who already bought all the expansions get a statue of Prishe automatically. That's a reward for 'loyal long time customers'.

Except the people buying the Collection also get the statue. They get the extra item, plus the item we get, and they pay less total. It's a slap in the face to people that didn't wait for expansions.

I'm finally leveling melee jobs for the first time, and the increased amount of levels you have to solo, and how you gain levels now much faster than you gain combat skill, makes it very difficult to survive. Not being on a mage job means I can only bring one inexpensive reraise with me, maybe two if I eat a scroll before I leave town. New players get infinite reraise during the solo leveling range, free with purchase. I have to spend even more than I have already (on buying the same thing). It feels like this situation:

As stated in a prior post, you are not paying for the hat when you buy this collection. You are paying for the collection, the hat is an extra bonus. No one is going to debate that some people are going to be angry that they cannot obtain this item because "They are long time Customers" because this item was not intended to be obtained by "Long time Customers". It is to attract new players that need a boost getting to level 30 so they can get a piece of the real action that this game has come to be, which is Abby.

So all in all, everyone please stop your complaining that SE doesn't care about you. If they wanted you to have the item, you would have the item. Most of are you stating you don't even need the item because you are 30+ on all of your jobs anyway. YOU ARE JUST ANGRY SOMEONE IS GETTING SOMETHING YOU AREN'T. Get over it and deal with it.
