The chance did exist: there was a chance for the tongue to drop, even on that third orb that was never done.Being in the run is not the chance...the chance was for him to lot on the BB thing, if it dropped. It may have a chance to drop every run, but the deal is basically contingent upon there being a tongue to drop to lot on...you can't be expected to pay when there wasn't a chance to lot at all...since the deal was for the chance, when the chance does not exist, the deal, by extension no longer exists.
Again, not a good deal, but he changed the deal when it was time for his orb. He's not in the right.
That part I do agree with...he should not have backed out of the third run, but by extension of that, he should have clarified the deal to begin with...I don't think he's changing the deal so much as new details of the deal came out after the fact...anyway, it's a learning experience for Linh.
