    Synergy Issue

I recently spent 80k trying to make a teleport earring and did not succeed.

Either the requirements for trying to make teleport earrings needs to be lowered
or something needs to be done about helping people understand what they need
to be doing to make the item have any hope of succeeding.

As it stands when I attempt Synergy I feel overwhelmed in a sense and lost
    sometimes during the attempts.

That proves nothing! And furthermore, you'd think I could remember a thing like that!
    Plus, who are you anyway?

If you spent anywhere near that amount of gil attempting to make a teleport earring, chances are your skill is far below the cap for this synth. It's just like regular crafting... if you're too far below the synth cap your chances of success are very low.

While I admit that lowering the cap on teleport earring synths would make these earrings more accessible to the general population, I'm willing to assume that the failure to make one is simply due to misunderstanding the system itself, or insufficient skill level. Cause they're really easy to make lol

I got my start in synergy because I wanted a teleport earring, so I understand your pain. However, your expectations are not realistic. Teleport earrings are not beginner recipes, and while it is possible to succeed at low level, it is unlikely. If you want to make your own earrings, you will need to level synergy to an appropriate level. Otherwise, you should ask someone with synergy skilled to operate the furnace for you - many of us would be happy to do so.

    Here are a few pointers:
    1) Do not buy fewell from the synergy engineer, unless you want to overpay.
    2) Buy fewell from the AH, or make your own. If you make your own, consider buying the colored rocks at the Goldsmithing guild in Mhaura.
    3) Silver earrings can be purchased cheaply from the jewlery store in Lower Jeuno.
    4) Look at failed attempts of higher level recipes as time and gil spent leveling synergy, not as gil wasted on making a particular item.

They are not easy to make if you are lacking in manuel dexterity. If I had wanted to test my dexterity I would have played something else like a piano.

If you have a friend that has synergy leveled, you can start the synth and they can operate the furnace for you. It comes out of your fewell, but you get a shiny earring with 30 charges ^^

I would like to see fewel from the npc's drop in price And I would also like a better synthesis menu because the one they have now is just annoying and slow. I have Veteran GoldSmithing and Synergy capped and I still find it difficult to make certain items that require 4 or 5 different elements. On synths like flame pearls or flame earrings for example I wont even bother thwacking the furance I'll take the hit from the first explosion to get in as many fewel feed's as i can and resume feeding. The only time I will really thwack or release pressure or fix my furance is if I synth anything with high thunder element. Getting stunned sucks! But ya I would like see a better menu in the future or alteast the option to make macro's.

I personally would like to see more uses for cinders, I have capped Cinders and the only thing i can do with them is buy Mordants. SE should allow synergist to use the cinders to purchase items from their guilds, in other words a goldsmithing synergist can use cinders as a form of store currency to purchase items at the goldsmithing guild.

I have a hunch that we`ll be using Cinder for upgrading armor with synergy after the new patch.
