It's not as big as you think. Firstly, this only really changes things inside Abyssea. Secondly, you have to think of the opportunity cost. It gives bigger epeen numbers (and likely better performance overall) but they are losing another DD atma for it, so the difference is not so huge as it may seem. Granted it is still a buff, but it's not like night and day.
This is Sakurawr, not Raen D:
ws average with vv/rr/aoa vs ss/rr/aoa
honestly about the same. in fact vv/rr/aoa pulls slightly (and i mean slightly) ahead, sure ss/rr/aoa spikes up higher.
but where it really changes things is in terms of pure total damage. All those increased crits......jesus its insane.
You're as bad as Jar.
Pay attention. I'm only going to say this once.
COMMON SENSE TRUMPS YOUR EPEEN.
It is common sense that more swings in less time means you're dealing more damage. Therefore, Last Resort lasting three minutes means a ton more damage than before, as opposed to the 30-second duration we used to have. This is an irrefutable fact.
Cardfight!! Vanguard is the best TCG of all time.
Haste + March x2 + 5/5 Desperate Blows/Last Resort Recast + Low Delay GS or Scythe.
Watch your straight melee damage fly.
Double/Triple attack gear helps, too.
Want to make it even better on a budget? Magnus Scythe + a stack of M Stone pouches.
Even more better? Pop Souleater and/or Blood Weapon.
"Srsly", you have so many options available to murder a mob's face off. Use them, and enjoy them.
Abyssea really isn't a good gauge on real-world numbers, but in the course of 3 hours in a cruor party on birds in Misa I managed to beat a WAR in a parse. 615k to 604k damage. I had around 513k straight melee damage, while he only had ~250-300k. Of course he beat me on WS damage, but that's to be expected. This really shows the difference made by being able to almost full time Last Resort. All things being equal without atmas, I'd expect similar results in the non-abyssea world. Atmas used: RR/SS/A+O.

~The key to immortality is to not die~
Different folks, different strokes, my friend. You weren't there, you can't debunk my claim. Go be pissy somewhere else.
~The key to immortality is to not die~
Because the crit hit cap hasn't been raised past 50% now and able to be utilized for both TP and WS for some jobs 100% of the time.
