While I think this is a so-so great idea a lot of people would feel like its an invasion of their privacy, in Phantasy Star Universe you were able to not only do just that but also look at their money.
You've been trolled! You've been trolled you have probably been told, "don't reply to this guy, he is just getting a rise out of you," yes its true you respond and that's his cue to start trouble on the double while he strokes his manly stubble. You've been trolled you've been trolled you should probably just fold when the only winning move is not to play! And yet you keep on trying mindlessly replying, you've been trolled, you've been trolled, have a nice day!
I like the idea but this would lead to too much elitism.
for example I was in a merit pt back when the cap was 75, I had bard, cor, dd, you know the standard party setup. I was replacing someone and this guy said he was not a merit party because I was 74. ok? so what it is not like i am gimp, i am sure i could out dd 80% of the wars at 75 anyway.
point of this story is you may incouter people saying no to come help with xxx because you do not have weapon merits or some jack hole wnats you to have 400+ skill in something.
abyssea letting you level 30-90 fast is the side effect of that issue, I know if i was going into abyssea pt i would tell the guy can i come skill up xxx to leader, i dont need exp.
It would be neat sure but i think ill cause too much elitism.
No. The only stats I care to see are the invisible ones that can't be shown on the equip screen. Also fixing attack so you can see if it's over 999, if possible.
It really doesn't matter... you can judge how a player is doing by how they perform... not on what they're "stats" state.
If they are participating who cares what the stats are.
[To OP]
Just a note, specifically directing a post at the staff does not make them look at it. They look at threads that pique their interest, not the threads asking for their attention.
Also, yeah, great idea. Another way to discriminate against people. Perfect, just what we need. not....
The nice thing about Abyssea is that 18 idiots will still get 600exp per kill eventually. They will level up, their skill will increase, and they will kill faster. After 3 hours, even an incompetent group will look competent.
I witnessed this tonight.
pickup Aby parties:
People xp for 30 mins then swap to a lowbie job saying only "brb dumping merits" before doing it.
Have no atmas.
Are skilling up.
Have horribly low skill levels.
People who wanna show off but get bored in 30-40 mins.
Abyssea although fun, allowed the good players to completely cap out their requirment to need xp. All you get is people who fit into the above list. Thats why you get to take 18, the nature of it encourages gimpyness.
