    More ???'s for emp NMs

    Just read the update notes for next week about adding more ??? to pop emp nms.

    People will without a doubt use this as not intended and pop two NMs at once and aoe brew them both down at once, hoping you make this so that the same alliance can't have claim on both at once and maybe put the ??? far enough apart to make popping one after the other a non-issue.

    The whole point of adding more pop locations is to stop a monopoly which people will still do with both if you let them.

    If people aoe brew them down, the ???s will both be up in about 1:30 from the pop. If an alliance is taking 60 minutes to kill a mob, there's still another ??? for other people to pop. If an alliance is taking 60 minutes to kill one, and pop two, then there's probably going to be two free NMs soon.

    This ^. Who cares if one group has both NMs if they're brewing them? They'll be dead in 10-30 seconds.

    They can run people to the ??? while it's being brewed to pop both and the brewer in a prompt to not use up brew time, brewing 2x.

    General rule of thumb in FFXI as shown over the years is, if you let people be a****les, they will be. Just putting it out there incase they hadnt thought of it, the players sure did.

    Huh? We both said we know that people can/will brew both at the same time.

    The question is why does that matter at all when they'll still kill the NMs in like 30 seconds anyways?

    So what? It's still gonna help. Even if the same alliance is popping both NMs, they'll be done with their kills twice as fast, letting others pop theirs without waiting as long. You also have two chances at outclaiming them on the ???, instead of just one.

    Brewed mobs should die in 10-30 seconds, plus 10-30 to get it to the brew spot. Repop time is 1 min. An alliance of 18 people brewing pops should take at most 20 minutes to go through all their pops with two ???s. If there's 3, they should be done in under 15.

    not worried about brewing, but an alliance could still monopolize the NMs easily enough, simply switching targets to get their !! done. A good tank on each and voila. Hopefully, if they do decide to monopolize they'll exhaust their pos in a hurry and have to move on. I honestly don't often see brews being used on most of these NMs anyway, since you are after !1, and the kill by the time you get the !! isn't that difficult to do straight.

    They will 1000% no question asked whether SE will fix the claim; the person with brew on can jump alliance. But this should be quick regardless. I'm happy with the ??? being added.

    I don't see an issue here. Like a few ppl were hinting at they will kill their spawns way faster then they can farm up the KI's. If they waiting on Gukz it's 10 min + respawn which will slow them down if they bank on KI out of chests that's slow too. Either way turns will be taken pretty fast.
