Magian Staff Trials - A humble plea

Though the final Magian Staff style surely must have been popular among the Vedic gods and I hate to either question their fashion sense or disappoint them by asking that their prized possessions be altered in any way, perhaps just a small detail could be changed to distinguish Varuna's staff from, say, Indra's or Surya's so that feeble-minded adventurers like myself will stop trying to misuse their grand power. I can't tell you the number of times I've gone to obliterate a monster only to find my Surya's Staff equipped because I had just saved an adventurer from almost certain doom with a mighty cure, and it must be equally frustrating for the gods to be forced into looking on with horror as their staves are mis-matched into uselessness! Though I can only imagine that the gods must have some mystic way to distinguish their respective staves after gatherings, perhaps a favorite trinket or even a nametag could help us adventurers do the same.

kinda miss the colored bead of the elemental staves to help with such blonde moments....I've had to resort to macros that swap the staff and call my avatars for SMN, since I have almost a full set of +2's for it (7 done, on 8th now). At least on BLM thunder and ice are nuetral, so while I don't get a boost--I don't get a nerf.
