It was an alliance zerg, but very lop sided. I have some of the SSs posted over on Killingifrit if you want to see them. 93.3% haste was untouchable by any other job. Even KClubs couldn't keep up in zergs.

with the right atmas i can crit a normal attack for around 800-890dmg per hit WS are still in the 2k-3k range tho. ^^

i remember them days, hell i had amassed a fortune in order to be one of them drks, then i rediscovered the fairer sex, and SE nerfed haste/apoc, i quit gave away said fortune, got dumped, came back.

Wow, SquareEnix. I'm pretty much convinced that DRK is the BEST JOB IN THE GAME.
No one is even CLOSE to putting out our numbers when it comes to pure, unadulterated damage potential. Our weapon skills are so much better than Samurais. Four whole hits? JESUS CHRIST. Just try and survive THAT mobs. And don't even get me started on Souleater, that shit puts my damage through the ROOF. And the Twilight Scythe? Man, way to make the relic and mythic scythes just totally useless. It's so good. Proc death on SHINRYU?! I THINK I WILL. Who else can do that? NOBODY. It's pretty much LOLDRG LOLRNG LOLSAM, warriors are only good because they are trigger slaves while the rest of us REAL dd's take care of the meat of the problem. And don't even get me started on Greatswords. Nobody uses those. Really? Full-timing scythe is where it's at. Did they make a twilight GreatSword? I don't think so. I love walking around in my full perle gear. It makes some people mad but god it is SO GOOD. BUILT FOR DRK. I love laughing at all the noobs who still think Homam and Askar gear are worth it. Not to mention we get an A- in dark magic. Can any of you BLM's out there do that? I don't think so. Scholar? Yeah right. I just don't understand how you can compete with the most powerful DD job in the game, especially when it's loaded up with amazing spells and all of the best gear.

In conclusion, keep up the great work SE. We definitely don't need any more spells, the ones that you gave us in the last few major updates are AWESOME. ENDARK! GOD it just puts my damage OVER THE TOP. Dread spikes? DRK's can finally tank like we were always meant to do. Good luck doing damage to ME, abyssean hordes.

P.S. Tactical Parry is the best job trait in the game. I'm so glad they added this.

its an addiction for me, something I know that I should give up and just stroke my ukon. but the apoc always lures me back making me think that "hey I can make this good again!" /lesigh

Dark Knight is the only reason I play this game, lol. I feel you're pain man. I chose not to play FF14 simply because it seems to me that there will be no Dark Knight job in the game. Certain specific Drk traits are being dispursed to other jobs such as Lancer. The same thing is also happening with Thf. There isn't a chance I could ever play another Final Fantasy game without the inclusion of Drk.

Maybe SE will change their minds and put a Drk job in the game but I seriously doubt it
