These bugs aren't new, It's almost like some greater power is placing them there to ween out console gamers, not really it's failure by the developers to balance memory resources consumed by new content and features. I know exactly what's happening but doubt SE will fix these issues.

You see when the missions and quest where first created the core engine (memory size) on the PS2/PC/XBOX was smaller. There where less key items, less menus and basically, a lot less was there. After new additions / enhancements where added to the client the core engine base requirements increased. This basically creates a bottleneck in the usable memory allocated for cut scenes etc. It's because of the enhancements that when a large cut scene that used to fit in memory loads it runs out of handles space, etc. causing a hard memory fault. When the cs reaches that point in the cs it's not all there and the rest is history.

This is because the cut scenes are attempting to over allocate available memory. I don't understand why SE can't figure this out It's not rocket science. If you keep adding new stuff the old stuff needs compressed or memory requirements reduced or the client is bound to fail. This is especially true with the finite resources available on the consoles. On a PC the OS and client can just allocate more ram and the players would be none the wiser however, on the PS2/PS3 and Xbox these resources are hardware limited.

So the next time you see someone complaining about CS's crashing know this. It's not always the consoles fault. I've seen a lot of humdingers about it being firewalls etc. Just relay what I've said here and maybe just maybe SE will figure it out and stop blaming it on everything else.

    The truth is out there.
