Basically what you are trying to say is that Beastmaster's have to sacrifice gil for everything? Losing a fresh and good Jug Pet to small issues such as spawning the Zone Bosses for Dynamis, changing areas around to do Campaign which has no real benefit now days besides entertaining players whome enjoy it, or simply wanting to do VNM for Empyrean Weapon trials, etc..
I haven't read much of the posts after this one, so forgive me if I'm repeating anyone.
At any rate, this simply doesn't sound like a legit reason to ignore it. From my understanding, it sounds like they assume this could hurt the econamy for Cooks.
The fact here is simply that Beastmaster's have no native way to save a Jug from complete waste. Simply adjusting the "Leave" Pet Command to recycle a Jug while the pet is at 100%/reset "Call Beast" timer to allow us to successfuly change areas without the loss of an expensive Dipper Yuly jug, etc. or to allow us to spawn a Zone Boss for Dynamis.
There is no actual "Recycle" Job Trait for Beastmaster when there is for Ninja and Ranger. Corsair? Honestly, I am not sure... Should Corsair not have, then that has been neglected too. Bullets are quite expensive.
I read somewhere in these Forums that people wanted to be allowed to change areas with Charmed pets. I dislike the idea because then it really would hurt the Cooking econamy, but simply allowing us to change areas with a Jug pet would not.
Although the pets would last...so much longer, a simple entry into Town will terminate the Jug Pet completely. Everyone has to return to Town regardless anyways...it's the central to all forms of Events. Magian, Abyssea, Dynamis, Job Changes, Food, Armor Deposits/Retrievals, etc./so forth.
While on subject, I meant to suggest that Pet Food stacks be increased from 12 to 99. Tired of having -8 Inventory spaces. >.<
Hell yes! SE cant even do zoning? how are they going to fix all the big stuff for bst like CHARM in abyessa.(which is MANDITORY SE it's our main ability) ect ect.Wow, settle down people. They are responding to the concern and all that happens next is complaints?
My man xilk i know bst is used to it but your going way too easy on them.
Booooo! let us zone with jug pets! Sheesh...
~Party Rock Anthem~
Yeah this is kinda BS, this has nothing to do with game balance. More than likely it's just about prioritizing what will make the largest amount of people happy, they aren't gonna lose 5k of subs over pets not zoning but if they don't spread a bit of love to every class and increase the level cap and throw in new leveling areas people will get bored and quit.
Is it BS they aren't doing it? Absolutely They talk about helping the economy in the game out and then turn around and say "well thats too hard...give us something easier to do" pfff whatever, if you won't do that then give BST a recycle like RNG and NIN gets, and don't even try to lie that can't be done, nobody here is even going to remotely believe that, even the fanboys taking up for you lol
I don't think I'd call it "game Balance" more as "economical Balance". As it has largely more to do with keeping BST jugs prices from fluctuating wildly.
Whatever the Excuse i still don't agree with the decision but i do understand the implications.
My cost to make jugs is next to nothing, because i farm the materials. Cost is not an issue for me, but I still would like to see it implimented none the less. They say "not looking to do this". /shrug. Life goes on.
Time is cost fabby
