Problems with obtaining new linkshells

After 4 hours of trying we're not able to obtain a linkshell on Bahamut (after the merge with Ramuh).

All 3 cities NPC are out of stock of linkshells - even if we click on 12:00:00.

We can't start our LSes! Help!

Was the same on my server last year after the merge, it took around a day i think? before you could buy new LS pearls.

Have someone at each of the NPC's to try and get one. We had to do this last year unfortunately.

Seems really odd that they'd have something like this be limited. Why make the NPC a guild shop at all? At the very least, maybe stealth-add a low-level synergy recipe to synth new shells. Seashell x2 and Pearl x4, something like that.

I concur with this. After merger all the top LS names from my server on Unicorn had their name stolen. Now the leads are being extorted to pay gil in order to obtain the names back and we can't even get new LS after we've decided on a new name cause someone keeps buying all of them off every npc. This is a joke. Why couldn't they lock LS creation along with account creation/transfer services to ensure this didn't happen?
