Never said I was using Windower--you just assumed that. That isn't the only tool that can access the registers to toggle graphics features off. Tools like ATT and 3D Analyze are system level tools, and have nothing to do with what program you are running--they work directly with control registers and DirectX/driver features. There are others I've used in the past, but they are grossly outdated and for chips no longer in production (S3, 3dfx, etc.)--some were even dos utilities you had to run trhough batch files or directly from the command line.
