in all honesty noone does pulling the strings/targeting the captain any more and for good reason, noone wants to spend months on end doing events where only the puppetmaster gets something. I mean we're talking millions upon millions of gil worth of attachments here, who would want to sit idly by and watch 1 person getting every drop over and over with no benefit to themselves. the only people doing these quests are rmt's lately and they have boosted the cost of attachments to such extraordinarily high prices that people are afraid to start pup for the massive cost. The fact of the matter is that they need to add different ways of obtaining these attachments, preferably solo, since noone helps pup or cares except for other pups who need the same attachments :/. Would like some of these old battlefields fixed, you don't need 3 ppl to defeat targeting the captain now, why is there still a minimum number of ppl to enter recquired :/. Same goes for assaults, if u want to solo cuz u have a solo job and noone else wants stuff from it, then why should u be forced to take someone else along and waste their time and ID's. We should have a choice IMO.

Quick info for those that don't know

"Pulling the Strings" is an ENM fight (once a week)
Level cap 60, no subjob
Number of players that can enter: 1
Drops: Depend on the job you enter on.
To enter you need to beat a goblin in a game of dice.
Fight: you fight a goblin and "Fantoccini", the Fantoccini take the job you enter on and will summon their pet if the job is a pet job.
The Fantoccini NM must be defeated to win

All new attachment can be bought in Whitegate, Thank God .... So what are the new attachments in Pulling the Strings?
This actually might turn out to be good.

Needs confirmation but my speculation is that it is the "targeting the captain" attachments which would be win!

The following automaton attachments will be added:

Name Description

Heat Capacitor A fire-based automaton attachment.
Functionality: Erases all Fire Maneuver effects to restore TP.

Power Cooler An ice-based automaton attachment.
Functionality: Reduces MP cost in proportion to the number of Ice Maneuvers in effect.

Barrage Turbine A wind-based automaton attachment.
Functionality: Erases all Wind Maneuver effects to occasionally grant a Barrage effect.

Galvanizer A lightning-based automaton attachment.
Functionality: Increases chance of countering in proportion to the number of Thunder Maneuvers in effect.
