Think we can get a PvP with Abyssea Atmas? I think it would be fun to see what Atmas can do for jobs in the PvP arena. I'm sure it wont happen but the fun it would be lol.

Hell ya! Ever since Atmas was introduced, I been having a Hell of a time in ffxi.
But having a PVP Arena with the use of Atmas you earn in abyssea!?

Why?
1.) Not WoW.
2.) Game designed to work together, not kill each other.
3.) Not WoW.
It's players like this that ruins the potential of FFXI.
This is an MMORPG game.
You should be able to play how you want to and when you want to.
1. This game has a PVP system. Doesn't matter if you like it or not.
2. If you do not like to PVP then don't participate.
3. This game has a lot of content created for many different types of players, So don't act like it should be limited for only one type of gamers.
If the idea is good, and it opens up for more different types of players, then I for one will welcome it since FFXI has a lot of things it needs to improve on, and PVP is defiantly one of them.
You don't like PVPing? Fine, then don't, But don't ruin it for those who do.
And off the record: WoW is a very successful MMORPG game.
So lets try to learn from what works on other MMOs and see what we can take and twist and use for this MMO to improve its needs.

i dont agree with PvP, but idc if they make one, i wont ever be taking part, there just should n0t be any rewards like arlan suggested as this would be vastly unfair to palyers w/o atma or certain gear etc etc pvp looks very unlikely anyway

It's easy enough to die in PvP as is. I don't think we need the insane atma stat bonuses making it even easier.

Making the Atmas available for a PVP arena doesn't make it easyer to die.
It makes it harder to die and harder to kill because of the atmas.
HP+ atma TP+ Atma STR+ atma DEX+atma .. YOU NAME IT!
So ya, it depends on what atmas you choose based on your strategy to take down your opponent is what would make this new PVP system new and interesting.

I can hit around 3000 on an average Abyssean mob, and that's just with Atmas of the Ultimate and Full Moon. Sure, in PvP spell and WS damage is reduced, but that'd still be enough to one-shot anyone who didn't have at least some HP+ atma. Also, having spell and WS damage reduced anyway kinda voids the point of the atma boosts.

How about raise the HP default to 9000hp? and any gear or atmas attached would boost it even more.
I mean there are so much things they can do to improve the pvp system and arena.
All they need to do is come up with a solution to be able to execute it properly to make the fights more fun than the current system of course.
either way, better come up with something creative to improve the enjoyment of the pvp system.
