as ROG pointed out Avestan's were an ancient people who were similar to bards and mages who used songs and rituals of purification and songs. The similarity in name does not mean it was intended to celebrate a players uberness in game. SE would do something like make some chocobo hat or something for him if they did that as u know how that works.
Just look at how many players names out there are similar to gear or items nice concept but SE would made a lot more of a fuss if someone was that good .
