Remember there's alot of content going into this update, and there's 4 different languages they have to post in, It might take up to 2 hours(maybe more) if they're having to spell check/grammar check to make sure it all makes sense in all languages :x

I'm really sure they usually have all that stuff taken care of and done with before maint. starts. Normally they do post the notes up right away - 30 minutes after maint. starts. The FFXI staff seem to be slacking, I wonder why that is.

It's not just an update - it's also server merges - that is why it will take 11 hours.

By the time they fix the atma saved interface, I think not many will be going to abyssea anymore. The updates look decent I suppose. All the worthwhile stuff was already mentioned, but I wonder what new stuff we can purchase with imperial standings.
