Unable to place items for sale on the Bastok Auction Houses

Steps:
1. Tried placing item for sale on the Auction House in Bastok Markets and Bastok Mines but both give me the message "Failed to place merchandise on auction." The item in question is iron ore. I have the money to cover the transaction fee, too. My sales slots are also completely free.

Edit: It seems to do it for all items that you try selling.
This also seems to be happening not just for me as a LS mate also had the same problem a few hours ago.

This is do to the AH merge that is happening during the update on May 9. You will not be able to place items on non-Jeuno based Auction Houses till after the update.
