What there do Direct Debit for the UK accounts?
Because the only thing I've seen are card payments.

This is how it works with a uk debit card.

You login to pol.
You go to services and support.
Go to Membership.
You put in your SE password and one time password in.
then go to Content ID Contract Extension.
Then you pick your Extension period for 1 month 2 month or 3 month.

And each time you need to go though all that again and again and again.

Now for a Credit card its take out of your account automatically.
(I don't want a Credit Card that's why I'm paying using a debit card.)

Now with a Direct Debt.
The money is taken out of your bank account automatically every month on a specified date.

I've never seen this extension option before. My money is taken out automatically every month on my UK debit card.

I don't think they do Direct Debits - for that you'd need to give them your account number and sort code etc but you can use a UK bank debit card to have them take it out every month on the 1st or 2nd automatically.

Those 'card payments' are where you go. It can be confusing but that is where you go for both credit and debit card payments.

The reason is that your UK debit card is either a Visa backed one in which case it is a Visa Debit or Visa Electron card or it is a Mastercard backed one in which case it is a Maestro card. (A few people may still have Switch too).

So look on your card and see if it is Visa or Mastercard based. Then select that option in 'Cards'.

What difference does it make? It's not like you can get cash back like you can at the grocery store. Just use your debit card for payment. The money still comes out of your checking account. You use your card, as if it were a credit card, and enter its information, again, as if it were a credit card. The end result is the same as if they did a "direct debit."

Actually once I did not manually extend my contract and guess what?

No payment was taken out of the account and my account became inactive.
I had to reactivate my account and manually extend my contract.

I wanted to suggest another payment method other than card payments.

Since this all about my payment method which is nothing to do with the original post.

You do, please stop spitting nonsense. I myself changed my credit card at the beginning of this year and it doesn't allow monthly automatic payments like my previous one which means I have to extend the contract for 1-3 months for each char and mules everytime the last contract expires.

Well, on the NA client we don't have anything like that.

Did you notice the "I'm uk" part of the thread ? I'm french and it works the same, it's not a CC problem it's an issue with SE that doesn't recognize my card as a normal credit card, even though it is a visa
