For those of you who haven't been keeping current with Sony's security fiasco, they just recently announced that Station.com (i.e. SOE account) data was hacked in addition to the PSN data that was hacked.

The upshot of this is that if you ever played an SOE MMO (Everquest, Everquest II, DCUO, Planetside, Star Wars Galaxy (Galaxies?), Matrix Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, etc.) then you are affected by this.

I'm willing to be at least a few FFXI players use the same login/password combination, so if you ignored SE's recent security-related announcement and thought "that doesn't affect me, I don't play PS3" but you once played EQ or SWG, then you should take another look.
