Dear SE, can my character be black? I find this pro-white to be offensive.
I'm open for it just for that.it would cause epic amounts of rage among people.
Mining would like a word with youHell even if they are targetable running around trying to find them would be a huge pain in the ass.
There are a few invisible tonberries in Uggalepih as well, IIRC.
Ok, so how about some new crafting items to go along with this idea, like True-Sight and/or True-Hearing potions to be able to see/hear the mobs? Then they could appear transparent like you see yourself when invisible. Or maybe some quest related items, like have Cid make you a special pair of glasses or bionic ear-muffs? Oh, and about the whole "why sneak, its a visual game" deal, I play in surround-sound, and many times I've heard a mob come up behind me.
So make everything invisible, then make a quest to make them visible again. Gotcha

um, no. Do you walk around invisible all the time, just because you have the spell? Did I ever say make everything invisible? Just select mobs should have the ability to go invisible, maybe when players near them are fighting, or something. Lower level mobs could use it to try to hide, or higher level mobs would try to do a sneak-attack, just like players sneak-pop nms.
The crafting or quest items would just be used like silent oils or prism powders. Have a limited effect, duration and range. Just thought it would be a cool idea, and thought it was kind of strange the those are basically the only spells mobs don't have that players do.
The reason why not is because if they become widespread it's mostly just going to benefit the people cheating so that they can see the mobs while the people that aren't cheating have to fight against an unfair advantage.
