OR maybe...SQUARE ENIX...how about just eliminate the requirement to have a master level job. When I did the Fafnir and Kirin fights they did not need master level, and I got the rewards. I just did Alexander and got NOTHING. That is not right. Only the so-called ELITE players who have no life are permitted gear progression ??? That is not right. If you are bothering to read this development team...CHANGE IT. Thank you.

Not sure how you can't enjoy the content if it doesn't give CAP, the real point of doing it is to get the upgraded RSE gears.

Dude... master levels have been out for several years at this point and job points several years more. You don't need to be elite or have no life to have mastered a job by now. MLv0 (i.e. just completed job points) is not that hard to achieve anymore.

Actually, I haven't tested it myself, but if you really can't get the Alexander upgrade material for RSE gear as a sub-2100JP job, that's a bit strange I think.
I did it all on my mastered job so I didn't think much of it.


I saw the upgraded RSE gear as something that can help you achieve exactly that goal, job mastery. And/or to eventually move on to better gear, such as reforged armour. That's just how I interpreted it though, and you're right that it's not hard to reach job mastery per-se, so I agree it's not exactly ELITE no-life status, lol
It's just really time consuming and most newcomers will likely see it as a major wall to climb, so maybe that alleged requirement should be relaxed if it's really true.

You could have easily made the ingredient something else.

I'm not sure if you know this, but the RSE gear is available via Curio Vendor moogles for 100 000g each.
A little steep for what they are, but I don't think that's such a bad price for the resulting i119 gear.

it's an easy coffer hunt. that's how I got all of mine.

How come I can send the base RSE to my Mules but not Upgraded RSE? I'm still doing the content to upgrade the gear, so I should be able to send it to my mule, just saying.
