Stuck in Mog Garden

Hi and Uhh I've been stuck in this cutscene of a moogle trying to talk to me but im out of bounds, after i was disconnected out of my friends' Mog Garden.

I can't use the support desk command to contact a GM but i can use Tells to talk to people, read about an old post that had this problem before and trying to get an contact with a GM to get me unstuck from here

I doubt it, but I wonder if you could use the text-command instead of the menu:

I tried yeah, and man it is a lil hard to believe myself after reading the original post of how they got unstuck and assumed fixed years after

Hmmm what's the timeline for the pictures?

You log in and you appear in the Mog Garden briefly, then it kicks you to the Mog House and doesn't progress or so?

In any case, I'd suggest you fill up and use the template from

and stay online as much as you can for a Gamemaster to contact you/move you though they should be still able to send you a PlayOnline message as well, but unsure if they can move you while offline.

Also would run the file check just to be sure (both, via the PlayOnline viewer start screen as well as the one triggered via Final Fantasy XI Online Config Utility).

If you use the report menu, you can say "I'm stuck" then you have to just stand still for 30 minutes and the game will send you to your HP

"I can't use the support desk command to contact a GM" suggests that they can't access the menu.

Neat, I did not remember that being a thing!

Although... trying it out, it seems to end up calling a GM in the end.

To be specific, that was:

Help Desk > Help Desk > I can't move my character or log out of the game. > My character is stuck. > I am stuck and need to get out. My movement is not being restricted by a GM. > Please describe your problem. / Execute (Call placed in the queue.)

They mention the moogle trying to talk to them, and looking at the screenshot, it does seem plausible that a cutscene is supposed to start, but it doesn't, and the menu can not be opened while in a cutscene (be that an actual cutscene or just NPC dialogue "cutscene" that must be escaped from or confirmed through).

Makes me think of that issue where talking to an NPC gets one stuck, though I don't think I've ever had it happen again after a full re-log in dance (unless forcing disconnection but only enough to get booted back to the title screen; then it would happen again, unless I went all the way back to PlayOnline and then launch the game again).

I was showing them my Mog Garden when they disconnected. They had not unlocked Mog Garden yet and neither of us knew about this bug until we started looking up possible fixes afterward.

Whenever they log in the Mog Garden tutorial attempts to play but ends up bugging out as seen by the screenshots.

We already tried submitting an online support ticket but we were told to use the in game Help Desk instead. The problem is they cannot access the Help Desk at all. Even typing the command manually into chat results in an error. I also tried calling a GM for them but because the issue is tied to their account, they said they could not assist.

It's a little but frustrating seeing I had finished getting them to lvl 99 on drk plus completed their nation and Zilart missions plus some ambuscade gear.

At this point I'm just having them make a new character and we are just redoing it all.

That's probably the only answer. The people who can fix it will take months to bother.

It really should not be so difficult to get help but it is.
