SE doesn't want to put most of the profit FFXI generates back into FFXI, I doubt they even roll 10% back into the game.

With that kind of budget, creating a new system to save BLU magic & PUP sets would take a long time, so much in fact, we still haven't seen it after they announced they were working on that last year. or was it the year before last? i don't remember.

A new system for non-inventoy storage slips would take a similar amount of DEV time. not worth the investment.

I don't want to start another discussion about which dollars get spent on what, but in terms of resources the producer is willing to use, this is how things work and the impacct of any change must be weighed against the resources it would require. As I said, to truly fix this problem would take significant resources due to a total redesign of the system. There are, in my humble opinion, more pressing needs deserving of these resources. I myself rarely use the porter moogle if I can avoid it because it's a significant hassle.
