Monstrosity - Area Display doesn't function

Steps:
1) Enter the Feretory via any Odyssean Passage. The one I used in this instance is in Port Bastok at (K-12)
2) Change to any Monster that can use an Area of Effect spell. I used a Flan in this case, the standard BLM version.
3) Use the Odyssean Passage inside the Feretory to teleport to an area to level up. I went to Buburimu Peninsula under the effect of Belligerency.
4) Make sure Area Display is turned to ON, which is located in Config under the Misc. 3 category.
5) Select an Area of Effect spell or Monster Skill to use. As a Flan, I used Stonega to target a Zu.
6) Notice how the sub-target arrow displays, but the Area Display circle doesn't appear.
7) Exiting Monstrosity and attempting to use an Area of Effect spell or Weapon Skill displays the circle normally.

The area display came out long after monstrosity development ended. It's probably not compatible and working as intended from before the feature existed.
