Put Tetra Master In FFXI - Drop PlayOnline

I'd also like Tetra Master to return. I remember playing it years and years ago back when FF11 was still young. It's a shame they got rid of it. I loved the funky remix of the FF9 music that played.

Triple Triad would also be an acceptable replacement. I'd just quite like to be able to play cards as part of the game again.

Nice necrobump. But they will never get rid of Playonline even now that they have the SE account system because of consoles.

No reason they can't make POL just go straight to FFXI after logging in though, unless those advertisements for such quality games that you can't find at retail anymore like Infinite Undiscovery, FFXI 2008, and Valkyrie Profile 2 are so important to them.

They could just add an ingame mail system vs a pol main system. Since all pol is, is just launcher with 2 types of mail. And you can't really use ur @pol email well... they could just strip pol to just be a launcher for ps2/360 and put mail ingame. Much like WoW and soon ffxiv. So it should be plausible with the ps2 >.>;;

Also i never saw too much differece between tetra master and triple triad... but why not put both in game? just make card halls where we can play.

I like the idea of pics into game cards. Just as long as they rare/ex or into their own inventory. so ppl can't monopolize them shii outa them.

FFXI is the only game that anyone has ever actually played for POL. Unless you are considering Final Fantasy X which was not really connected to POL anyway. But, if the option was given to launch directly into FFXI, you could disable that option if you wanted and go through the process of getting there slowly.

If there ever was an issue within FFXI that should be fixed, it is the long and difficult process to simply log in and play the game. For PC users, the billing system should be handled entirely through the SquareEnix account web site. When opening FFXI, I can understand a login process, but this should take us straight to FFXI. There are no other games. No one plays Tetra Master. We should log straight into our account.

Tetra Master, on the other hand, should be within FFXI. You should be able to walk up to any player in a town and have 'Play TM' as an option. If the other person accepts, the game should appear within FFXI itself. People can trade cards, and certain cards should drop from NMs. NPCs can buy and sell simple cards, and new card shops can be in each town.

We dont' need a flawed game that cheats, that's why tetra master failed in the first place.
