    Inventory Search Command

We already have /sea all [Player_Name] and various options available therein. I think it would be excellent to have a search for inventory areas.

If you could not find an item, you could simply search your inventory for it.

    /search bank "Boreas Cesti"
    /search locker "Boreas Cesti"
    /search storage "Boreas Cesti"
    /search satchel "Boreas Cesti"

It should then tell you the location and how many are found. If part of an item was listed, it would show all of it.

    /search bank Crystal

This would show the number of items found that match within the Mog Bank.

Also, I know it would be more complicated, but a way to search all of the storage areas would be nice too. Most people are not aware of "/sea inv" which searches for people with their invite flags up so the word inventory might not be the best to use, but some alternates are possible.

    /sea items Cesti

This would show all storage areas for this weapon such as "Boreas Cesti" and the regular "Cesti" along with the total number of items found. This could be display exactly like the player list. There are so many places where items are stored, I think a search method like this would prove beneficial to all players.

Seems like a pretty good idea actually.

I'd like a way to customize storage categories. For example, instead of just adding another way to put 80 slots all in the same category, I'd like to actually have USEFUL furniture in my mog house. Here's an example:

I like to collect and store crystals. So I should be able to get a Crystal Cabinet furniture for my mog house. Click on it, and I get access to all my crystals. There could even be a "drawer" in the cabinet for each crystal. Each drawer could have up to 80 slots, giving you a way to store up to 640 stacks of crystals or clusters (or 1280 if you include GP crystals). Crystals and clusters would be the only items that could be stored in that piece of furniture. And to keep from having to load your whole inventory just from entering your mog house, your crystal storage would only load when you actually click on the furniture.

Get furniture for ninja tools only. Get furniture made only for arrows, bolts and bullets. Get furniture only for fishing rods, baits and lures. Get a cabinet for storing medicines. Get furniture specifically for storing field gear, chocobo riding gear, and fishing gear. Get a piece of furniture to store just FISH! Get a closet piece for each craft, each with 80 slots. I already have a mule for each craft, but it would be nice to be able to have a decent amount of space for storing commonly-used items so I won't have to mule so much.

And why don't they just go ahead and make Storage available from all mog houses? My gosh, with the sack and the satchel, we already have enough space in the field to fill a U-Haul truck. As unrealistic as that is, we may as well have the ability to swap out stuff in our lockers and safes, or at least let us access Storage from any mog house or nomad moogle!

Yes. Perhaps that would be good. However, that might add to the confusion. I honestly cannot find my gear sometimes. I think the best things would be either an inventory search command or a sack for each job in your mog house. Like, you can buy a dresser for your gear. 80 slots in a dresser and you can have up to 10 of them or something. That way, you can swap out for your jobs. Otherwise, an inventory search would be the next best thing. Even then, though, you would still need inventory search to find things.
