I'm not sure what this has to do with the website?
This is the "Website feedback and suggestions" forum. It is for matters relating to the official website. Your post belongs in General Discussion (if anywhere...)
I'm really not sure what you mean. I've never heard of people losing gil when they craft things. I can only assume you mean to say you're not profiting off what you're selling, but I don't know how that would be anyone's problem but yours. Maybe you picked the wrong shield.
This is definitely the wrong place to post that.
Profit/loss is based on the market. Why did you craft something that was likely to turn a loss? Such things are typically crafted in the pursuits of skillups rather than profit; or some idiot is crafting the item at a loss not realizing he could have sold the mats for cheaper.
Now, if it's neither of those... I have also noticed my HQ rate is a lot less than it used to be typically (not crafted since the latest update so that may have changed again). This may be SE's way of making items rare.
There's also a crafting dupe to consider. There could still be a dupe out there that has yet to be discovered by SE or the community at large being used to effectively print gil. In which case, crafting an obviously loss synth is perfectly fine since it's still profitable to him.
