    Square Enix Accounts - Indian state requirement notice

    In accordance with new financial regulations in India, all Square Enix Accounts registered in India must have a state added to their registered address.

    Therefore, we ask all users with a Square Enix Account registered in India to log into their account and update their address following the instructions below:

    - Log into your SQUARE ENIX Account and select Account
    - Enter the date of birth registered to the account
    - Click on ‘Update Account Information’ and then ‘Update detailed information’
    - Select a state from the ‘State’ drop down field
    - Click ‘Next’, review the information entered, click ‘Update’ and ‘Done’

    Please note that for any new account registrations, the state will be a mandatory field at account creation, when India is selected as a country of registration.

    Square Enix Accounts - Indian State Requirement Notice – Follow-up (Sep 25)

    On 25th November, recurring subscriptions on Square Enix Accounts registered in India which do not have a state added to the registered address will be deactivated.
    This is in accordance with new Indian financial regulations, which necessitate that all Square Enix Accounts registered in India must include a state with their registered address.

    To avoid any interruption in play time or any issues when re-adding your payment method, we ask all users with a Square Enix Account registered in India to log into their account and update their address as follows:
    -Log into your SQUARE ENIX Account and select Account
    -Enter the date of birth registered to the account
    -Click on ‘Update Account Information’ and then ‘Update detailed information’
    -Select a state from the ‘State’ drop down field
    -Click ‘Next’, review the information entered, click ‘Update’ and ‘Done’
